Meadowlark Lemon (1932 – 2015), was a legendary basketball player. Wilt Chamberlain said, “He was the most sensational basketball player I’ve ever seen,” For 22 years, he was known as the “Clown Prince” of the touring Harlem Globetrotters basketball team. He played in more than 16,000 games for the Globetrotters and in 2003 was inducted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame.
